It all started by just posting pictures of the jerseys (which were harder to find than they should be). Then we scanned in the logos, traced them in Photoshop and put those up. When I showed it off to some buddies their unanimous reaction was: “Nice, but it’d be really cool if you had all of the players and stats.” At the time there were 246 players who had played for the Cavs, and collecting all that info would take a while. I decided to do it anyway. After about four months of writing code and scanning in pictures, I had almost all of the players and pix added. Today, the stats for EVERY Cavalier EVER and every head coach is accounted for (some pix are still missing, HELP!). After that, I decided to just do all of it. In 2004 it officially became CavsHistory.com. Matt (crunnch) joined in 2005 doing some blogging and now our goal is to document every nook and cranny from the history of our Cleveland Cavaliers. A sort of online museum.
